Stelco Holdings Inc. is a Canada-based integrated and independent steelmaker with advanced integrated steelmaking facilities in North America. The Company is engaged in the production and sale of steel products. It produces flat-rolled value-added steels, including coated, cold-rolled and hot-rolled steel products, as well as pig iron and metallurgical coke. With its gauge, crown, and shape control, as well as uniform through-coil mechanical properties, the Company’s steel products are supplied to customers in the construction, automotive, energy, appliance, and pipe and tube industries across Canada and the United States as well as to a variety of steel service centers, which are distributors of steel products. The Company operates from two facilities: Lake Erie Works (LEW) near Nanticoke, Ontario and Hamilton Works (HW) in Hamilton, Ontario.

I agree with you Fishcarrier that most of these analysts really don't understand the FULL situation. They try to wow you with incoheriant numbers to make themselves look smart to their superiors. Thats why I have kept saying that this company is all about what Alan whants to do . My guess is that he will give us (and himself ) a huge special Div. I would also guess that given that he is in alot of different business , that at some point he will try to sell the company. Do the analysts take this into consideration? Have the analysts asked him what his intentions are with regard to the large free cash position. Have the analysts even talked to him? I am very bullish because if nothing else there is going to be a large SPECULATION premium building up.
