RE:RE:RE:KobeFirewood....handle it three times before it gets to the fire. I once filled our A train (4 ft side boards - 25 and 22 ft trailers combination) with split hard maple that we bought from a guy just south of Algonquin Park, who was working out of a quarry. Before I got home to Niagara, I had to turn down folks at stop lights in little towns along the way who wanted to buy the load ...october 1979...... Nearly got trapped in the quarry on the way out late in the afternoon, on fresh snowfall as the entrance was sloped. Yes I do know a little about firewood and fireplaces and stoves.
