RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Kenney $hitting As Greenpeace Activist Named Enviro MinisterLet's talk about ENB.

A move to the US will give investors peace of mind while allowing ENB to increase their US footprint and consolidate business segments. They have so many US assets already and they will keep expanding in both countries anyway. What are the latest aquisitions ENB made? Hint: they are not in Canada. The Ingleside facity aquisition in the US is proof that they have been looking actively for years, and I am sure they have been and still are looking activelly for opportunities. Before that, there was the Spectra aquisition. ENB management is top quality, they are truly visionaries.

Moving headquarters to the US, would mean the following. Tax jurisdiction changes. Suddenly the Canadian gov will not get their cut anymore, ENB will pay transit tax only. Your think that's a small number? Think again.

Q, if $ moves out of Canada, do you think Canada will benefit? Think again. The lack of investment in the oil patch is just a sign of things to come. So what if SU returned a billion dollars to shareholders as per the financial reporting today. F them, according to the feds. The oil patch is gonna report huge numbers, same for all oil producers, GDP will get a boosts with zero support from the government, which will take merrit anyway. What would L3 or L5 be without the oilpatch? What about Trans Mountain Pipeline?

Canada has the world's third largest proven petroleum reserves and is the fourth largest exporter of petroleum. Yet this is something our government wants to move away from, it is shameful to exploit such vast resources. The joke is on us and on the future generations.

You call it progress. Some call it stupid.

Also Seamus O'Regan wasn't replaced with the "Green Peace" guy. He was replaced with Jonathan Wilkinson.

Try to keep up dilldos.

Oh yeah, Go Enbridge! ;-)

It makes no sense swimming against the current in Canada federal waters. I mentioned this before and I surely hope that smart people in the upper management of these great companies sharpen their pens and get to work. There are a few states in the US that will offer huge incentives to companies like ENB (and others) to set base over the border.

Management's job is to generate the most value to their shareholders, not to the country it operates in. Canada does not recognize the value in the oil patch anymore. There is talk about progress, while the greatest commodity Canada has (beside fresh water) OIL/GAS is being ignored. Moreover, the spit in the face with Seamus removal and greenpeace appointment, that's painful. When you need to show strength to support L5, they removed the sitting minister to replace him with a greenpeace environmentalist? That's progress alright. It's a show of strength for sure at the L5 negotiation table!

Years from now, there will be talk about this transition toward a green future. Would there be talk be about how stupid Canada was to let the petroleum / oil industry die? Or how this was the smartest thing ever?

Time will tell.

Until then, the top management of energy companies here in Canada should do their job and find greener pastures for the dirtiest industry in the world. Canada Gov does not want them anymore. These companies are nothing but a stain on the green agenda. It's time to recognize it and do it public.

To all companies that think they deserve better: Don't fight it. Don't wait until you'll be restricted, overtaxed, made fun of, closed down. Move NOW during a bull cycle while you can still can do it on your own terms.

Oil producers, hope you will invest every cent you have outside Canada. You have no future here. You will always be referred to as a the non green company. Don't invest one more cent in Canada where you have no future. Start fresh, do good for your shareholders, do it well someplace where your business is appreciated. Your shareholders demand oil producers and companies like ENB to adapt, not die.

Are you that entrenched in your conservative dogma that you consider. a banner hung on a building 20 years ago enviro-terrorism?

I believe they use the term Environmental Activist and it has been shortened to Environmentalist

When citizens vote an Environmentalist as their MP and then he is paid to protect the same environment he was fined for trying to protect 20 years earlier that is called progress.

I know progress goes against the conservative doctrine as it literally means averse to change.

The world is going to change anyway,  It doesn't seem to be going your way.

Go Enbridge! ;-)

Short term, I'll be surprised if we don't see more red days than expected in the pipeline stocks. I'll be happy if I'm wrong.

GO ENBRIDGE Indeed !!!

Existing pipelines should be worth more than ever.
