Turb:Have you ever wondered why many in

Turb:Have you ever wondered why many in The Middle East hate American's, Europeans and others who have economic advantage?
Possibly it is because of Iraq, Iran etc.

Unfortunately there seems to be a premise that an American life is worth more than the life of others!

Taking this further there is the very obvious assertion by many that a white life is worth much more than a black or brown life?

Support for this theory is very present in what is currently happening with voting restriction laws
that have been introduced in many US states in the last year!

Now Canada's relationship with the USA is often referred as being like the mouse living  in the same cage as an elephant. This is an appropriate analogy given the FACT that 90% of Canadians live within 100 miles of the USA -CANADA border.

Turb it is important to be aware of things rather than simply assuming that there is American superiority!

For example I would challenge that the USA is a model of democracy when 18% of the USA population can/does control the  US Senate= certainly doesn't sound like democracy?

Similarly the gerrymandering of electoral districts and the ever more restrictive voting laws certainly aren't examples of democracy

Turb please open your eyes.! You are worried about the desperate populations from very poor countries to the south = however you don't seem to understand that these "hordes" are needed to do the jobs  that most Americans won't do! You need to think about this aspect as you have a good chance of growing old in an institution where these recent immigrants will be feeding, bathing or changing your diaper!
Dont get me wrong- half my family are Americans and they have done extremely well!( including in the military)

Last Turb -please put yourself in the shoes of others and you might think differently!

ROCK

ps you might want to think about how many more Americans have been killed by fellow countrymen due to the 2nd amendment BS, than by terrorists!
