RE:Well's NR
Still don't think so, but I suppose its possible. If they are dividing into two main parts, maybe one part gets retained and the other sold?
I have read the N.R. over a few times; maybe someone here can explain in plain English what it means. There is an overdose of corporate jargon in the N.R. to my liking anyway.
My thought is that the streamlining into two separate divisions came about for marketing purposes, not to sell the company in its entirety, but to promote the shares of the company on the open market. But if that was the intent, I think they need some clearer language. You know they always say that you should be able to explain your business idea to a five year old, who can then explain it to his five year old friend. Otherwise, you are uncertain yourself. It seems to me they are building a sprawling high tech worldwide health care business and doing a pretty good job of that with some profitable numbers. Where they could improve is on bringing some exciting, unique and clear language to promote the "raison d'etre" of the company and to identify the gap in the market that is its mission. Bringing tech to healthcare is far too broad, and does not describe WELL, and that description is full of multiple competitors.
