Thank you mate!
All good questions NLJigger1. I don't normally flaunt the specifics of my holdings but in this case I've been posting here a long time so I suppose some transparency is warranted.
I currently hold 264,000 shares of Auxly at an average price C$0.305 per share.
I stepped into CBWT early and like you road the wave up back down. Last year my average in was still over C$2.00 but I looked at the products Auxly was bringing to market and I liked their change-up in the business model. Early in the game Auxly made a counter intuitive decision to approach the business in a different way than the rest of the pack.
The 2.0 first initiative was a risk, not impossible but a challenge to be reckoned with.
It was bold!
It was creative!
It took courage!
I like those things. They are WINNING attributes.
I decided I wanted a larger position in Auxly. I began averaging down and trading Auxly to build that position. I also cleared positions in other small plays to add to my Auxly position. Admittedly, it's an overweight position but sometimes it pays to put your money where your mouth is.
Looking at the timeline for building a business in a nascent industry 5 years is a commonly accepted goal for turning profitable. Auxly is on track to meet or beat that goal as are some others. Most will not make it to becoming a profitable, independent business. Many fell last year and more will fall this year.
Auxly took some people off guard announcing their #6 Total Canadian Market Share standing. Thing is, Auxly knows this is a competition and in order to WIN you better know the game, the field, and where the goal posts are.
Auxly literally called out the competition with this announcement and let em know, 'WE'RE COMIN' FOR YOU'' all Hulkster like.
The Canadian mj industry as a whole is at a turning point in my opinion. Businesses are being weighed and measured by ever changing metrics. The ones that matter the most will be fundamentals, such as 'sustainable' profitability, margins, market share and market size (future growth potential).
Earnings reports will be published throughout the month of November. Auxly Reports Q3-2021 on November 15th.
I like Mondays now that they're Merry.
Hold tight mates!
