Coastal Gaslink - Contractor Drama

Coastal Gaslink - Contractor DramaHi All,

I was reading through Aecon's Q3 MD&A and it appears that things are not going well on CGL and that they have commenced arbitration with CGL regarding a variety of scope changes and recoverable costs. Aecon's partner RB Sommerville has indicated that it will not be able to fund its portion of the JV post Q1 2022 unless this situation is resolved.

You can read about it here >>> https://aeconcomfiles.blob.core.windows.net/web-live/docs/default-source/investor-briefcase/md-a-q3-2021-(final).pdf?sfvrsn=d3d9140b_3

Once again, I can only imagine the bullet that Macro dodged on this project working with Spiecapag.

I wouldn't go as far as to celebrate the challenges of others, but perhaps there will be some opportunities that come our way yet with CGL.

Hope everyone is well and imagine everyone else is eagerly anticipating news in about a months time from Macro.

Sincerely,

LR
