RE:The Safe Banking Bill does not It was sad to watch two individuals create havoc with the infrastructure bill. Not so much the details, but a political process in place that gives 2 the power over 48 (and the President). My view is the decline of share prices across the board in this sector is the realization by many that little will be accomplished by the present government in the USA as it is presently configured. I suspect it will be even more of a stalemate when the Democrats inevitably lose in the mid terms as a consequence of demonstrating so little resolve in their first year. So much hope last winter followed by so much indigestion and constipation. That being said, I do believe (and have put my money where my mouth is) that despite Simon being tone deaf to retail investors on his pay, Tilray is still well positioned in Canada and eventually Germany and the USA. Simon's compensation is tough to swallow (and it has changed my long term opinion of Tilray...hence the low 20s sell order verses low 30s). He could have taken the edge off by buying Tilray shares on the open market. It was a mistake on his part not to do this and it will come back to haunt him (repeat of Hain). At this point I am simply unsure of who could possibly replace him right now. I still believe he is a deal maker and hopefully is cooking up something wonderful, but I feel like a NHL hockey team that put all its salary cap on one player and has to bring in university stand ins (a reference to the Maple Leafs having no choice but to suit up an amateur goalie).

I personally think Chuck got it wrong. Let the safe act pass with the defence bill. Let all the marijuana money roll into the banks. And the powerful bank lobbyists will do the rest pushing the republicans to legalize once and for all. Generating more businesses more Cash flow into banks. It's big money. Big money talks. Come one Chucky pass that safe bill
