Whitecap Resources Inc. is an oil-weighted growth company. The Company is engaged in the business of acquiring, developing and holding interests in petroleum and natural gas properties and assets. Its core areas include the West Division and East Division. Its West Division is comprised of three regions: Smoky, Kaybob and Peace River Arch (PRA). The properties in its Smoky region include Kakwa and Resthaven, all located in Northwest Alberta. I totally agree it should be higher and it certainly does seem to have lagged the others.  

I don't know why it's not closer to the target price , and when is said ot was a gut feeling that's all it is , but based on some feeling that the shares are probably if the analysts are right not be this low possibly ever again .  So if it was my plan as CEO to buy back shares through a NCIB and he said " TARGETED BUYS " then to me this would be a good target.   It went up to 8 on good volume pulled back to ? 8.40 say ? Then has floored out so to speeak.  It seems to be supported under 7.50.  

     I have seen other posters suggest same , and it's been a few days of support here now.   What got my attention was the spike to 7.6 range followed by a slow pull back. 

   I didn't look close close at it. Just seems to suggest someone put a market order in with enough volume to push it there.    


    It's a slow day lol.  I am doing the play by play of the stock on " STOCKEY NIGHT IN CANADA ".
