Baytex Energy Corp. is a Canada-based energy company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, development and production of crude oil and natural gas in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin and in the Eagle Ford in the United States. Its crude oil and natural gas operations are organized into three main operating areas: Light Oil USA (Eagle Ford), Light Oil Canada (Pembina Duvernay / Viking) and Heavy Oil Canada (Peace River / Peavine / Lloydminster). Its Eagle Ford assets are located in the core of the liquids-rich Eagle Ford shale in South Texas. The Eagle Ford shale covers approximately 269,000 gross acres of crude oil operations. Its Viking assets are located in the Dodsland area in southwest Saskatchewan and in the Esther area of southeastern Alberta. It also holds 100% working interest land position in the East Duvernay resource play in central Alberta.

Jesse Grimes, My opinion is that a lot of the potential is already priced in on this stock. I expect to see good numbers released and perhaps a teaser on Clearwater. Both will boost the share price in the near term with a pullback that will be less than the boost. Just like Suncor shares are doing right now. There is no news that will send this to the moon nor is there any reason to address a dividend at this time. I hold a lot of oil patch stocks and pipeline stocks that pay dividends. Currently they give me an average of 11.5 percent annually plus a small Capital Gain if I sell. BTE on the other hand has outperformed all of them and I am quite content to stay long and support Managements long term plans of Debt first as it all makes real sense. I dont post here very much but had to today.
