Canadian Operations segment includes the exploration for, development of, and production of oil, NGLs, natural gas and other activities within Canada. Market Optimization segment is primarily responsible for the sale of the Company’s production to third-party customers and enhancing the associated netback price. The segment’s activities also include third-party purchases and sales of product to provide operational flexibility.

Dividend Declared

On November 2, 2021, Ovintiv's Board declared a dividend of $0.14 per share of common stock payable on December 31, 2021, to common stockholders of record as of December 15, 2021.The dividend was increased by approximately 50% in the third quarter.
