Adventures in PlumbingThe calm before the storm before the storm, People
We are suppose to get a gale later to today. When we bought this house it was suppose to be the little house we lived in until the big house out on the point was built and then sell this place and live there. That is until the wife found out that the cheap lot on the point was in danger of sliding down the hill into the bay. So we remodel the little house and sold the cheap lot on the point for double what we paid for it and used the profits to pay for the remodel. The house came with a new furnace and tankless hot water heater. For those who don't havew a tankless heater, you can't beat it, if you like long showers. Anyways fast forward to last month when ours adventures in plumbing began. Hot water heater kept cutting out. So it is time to replace it. Oh joy, not! Buying a new heater was no problem, found on sale, half off. Then the fun real began, with permtis and plumbers that not interested in doing the job. To small a job, can't sell you their model on of heater. We get a plumber, finally. Old heater not install right, pipes to small have to replace or almost rust out. Grand total a new heater cost 25K with a new piping system from the street. Don't even get me started on horizon drilling and how much that costs.
I am off to the Doc's.
