Baytex Energy Corp. is a Canada-based energy company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, development and production of crude oil and natural gas in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin and in the Eagle Ford in the United States. Its crude oil and natural gas operations are organized into three main operating areas: Light Oil USA (Eagle Ford), Light Oil Canada (Pembina Duvernay / Viking) and Heavy Oil Canada (Peace River / Peavine / Lloydminster). Its Eagle Ford assets are located in the core of the liquids-rich Eagle Ford shale in South Texas. The Eagle Ford shale covers approximately 269,000 gross acres of crude oil operations. Its Viking assets are located in the Dodsland area in southwest Saskatchewan and in the Esther area of southeastern Alberta. It also holds 100% working interest land position in the East Duvernay resource play in central Alberta.

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Josh Young to discuss Baytex 12 minutes BNNHe didn't mention in what time frame.  If oil maintains a $80-$100 in the next 3-5 years and Baytex pays off all their debt, does share buybacks, and produces a dividend, then YES.  This is the problem with over simplifying a call like this.  There are plenty of things that can happen from now to potentially that point.  Everyone is in love with oil now.  You can do no wrong.  Things look like they can improve for years to come.  But the opposite can also be true.  Take what anyone on T.V. or the internet has to say with a grain of salt.  They really don't know, and I've said this before that most "calls" by experts never pan out and they are wrong.  That doesn't mean we will not enjoy a bull market in oil.  I just think we know just as much as they do.
