RE:Nisga'a LNG on Pearse Island (EAO) and EUR wind problems

RE:Nisga'a LNG on Pearse Island (EAO) and EUR wind problemsAs Oceanic states in their literature: The Company believes it will be some time before there is clarity on the development plans for the NW region of BC, and until those plans are understood there is uncertainty as to the future demand for electricity and the role that the wind project could play in meeting that demand. Dated July 8, 2021. The Ksi Lisims LNG project news came out July 19th.

The Nisga Nation wants to attract sustainable economic development and LNG is one option. Also addresses climate change with a net zero LNG project.

The windfarm could also help the Haida to facilitate a renewable energy economy to augment the forestry, fishery and cultural initiatives. (Oceanic Wind MD&A)

The above is something special. In other places around the world, the electricity disappears into  the grid. Builders of the windfarm get the revenues and maybe rent revenue for others. But to have a windfarm support various local economic initiatives is rare.

If everyone gives thought, maybe new ideas can come forth. So when see wind turbines, can say they are helping people/communities and not merely feeding the grid.
