The process is destructive to the cores submitted. With Photon-assay, you get your core back, as submitted, in a little plastic container....I could see it as finally one does not really need to keep the other-half in perpetuity as "proof" - it is a game-changer in that it will reduce the storage in the core-shacks, if nothing else!

The last batch of results were split down the middle and one half is sent to one lab and the other is sent to another lab. One lab reported higer result and the other lab reported low results. Same core/ split down the middle.
the last batch of core of 30 , there was no difference. So the back results are fine. The grades stand
i just think one lab performed a poor test and got low results lately only. The past grades did not vary between labs.
but best to stop and rectify this asap.
