RE:One reasonI think that these companies may be waiting for the US to pass their infrastructure budgets for building bridges etc. With the supply chain issues also ina lot of industries like auto that would use steel orders are likely backing up with some plants being shutdown from lack of chips.

Most of all I don't think these companies will do much until governments and industry start putting demands on steel companies on how their products were produced. It's one thing to say bad company for poluting, but then buy their product any ways. Best to say we will not buy your product until you produce a greener product.

The companies that jump out and act and start producing a greener product will start getting a larger share of the market. Just like every thing if the consumer doesn't demand no changes will happen.
