Plant-based meals never looked better thanks to BooshFinancial Post published an article about Boosh Plant-Based Brands Inc. The article discusses Boosh's ready-made, frozen, refrigerated and shelf-stable meals, and its business operations that are positioning the company for growth.
B.C.-based Boosh makes plant-based comfort foods, from heat-and-eat single-serve bowls and shareable entres found in your grocery store’s freezer and refrigerator, to, beginning this fall, shelf-stable meals. And after launching just four years ago, the brainchild of founder and president Connie Marples, has expanded its product line, found its way into around 400 stores across Canada and signed on with online vegan marketplace ShopVejii.com as of this fall at the same time that it is expanding into the massive U.S. market via Thrive Brokers.
Boosh moved to a new location in February 2021 that includes production and warehouse space, as well as a commercial-grade test kitchen for product development and a professional studio for filming cooking segments. The company has also added some top leadership, including CEO Jim Pakulis, who joined the company in 2021 and has been integral to deals aimed at expanding Boosh’s reach into the U.S. In addition, Boosh has formed crucial alliances not only with ShopVejii.com, but also with one of the shooting stars of plant-based foods over the last nine years: Beyond Meat, whose products can be found in some Boosh meals, including the shepherd’s pie.
