Theralase® Technologies Inc. (“Theralase®” or “Company”) is a publicly-traded Canadian federal corporation (TSXV: TLT; OTCQB: TLTFF), which consists of two divisions:
1) Anti-Cancer Therapy (“ACT”), a clinical-stage, pre-commercialization research and development division dedicated to the research and development of light-activated compounds, known as Photo Dynamic Compounds, and their associated drug formulations intended to safely and effectively destroy various cancers, bacteria, and viruses when light activated by proprietary medical laser systems.
2) Cool Laser Therapy (“CLT”), a commercial division that designs, manufactures, and distributes proprietary super-pulsed CLT medical lasers, primarily in Canada and the United States, to healthcare practitioners, for the treatment of knee pain and in off-label use, the treatment of numerous nerve, muscle, and joint conditions. The CLT division also designs and manufactures the proprietary medical laser systems used by the ACT division to activate the PDCs.

Job Description:
The successful candidate for the Web and Graphic Designer position will have 5+ years of demonstrated hands-on experience in the cohesive design, implementation, and marketing of the Company's website and embedded websites.
The WGD will be responsible for:
1) Optimizing and updating the Websites daily to provide all pertinent information required by the intended audience to make an informed buying decision about the Company’s products and/or services
2) Marketing the Websites to the intended audience through Search Engine Optimization and digital advertising
3) Generating Marketing Qualified Leads to the Websites through SEO and digital marketing, as determined by daily unique visitors
4) Converting the MQLs to Sales Qualified Leads, as determined by healthcare practitioners who are interested in buying the Company’s products and/or services by completion of pertinent contact information through splash pages, landing pages, and pop-ups
5) Implementing an E-commerce plug-in and automated credit card approval to allow the SQLs to effortlessly purchase the Company’s products and/or services on the Websites to become customers.
6) Generating graphic designs and various marketing materials for the Websites and other print, digital, and media marketing applications
7) Generating professional digital videos to be posted to the Websites, YouTube, and other media websites to promote the Company’s products and/or services through customer and patient testimonials, training webinars, and seminars
To be successful, the WGD will possess an expert level knowledge of website design and optimization, graphic design and be aware of the latest trends in digital marketing, e-commerce, and social networking strategies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1) Primary – Administration of the Websites by researching, managing, and publishing daily content, maintaining continuity of themes, designing layouts, and streamlining navigation via weekly updates to generate significant and increasing MQLs, SQLs, and customers monthly. Implement an e-commerce plug-in and automated credit card approval for the CLT website to allow automated digital transactions to purchase the Company’s products and/or services.
2) Secondary – Systematically increase monthly online presence and daily unique visitors of potential customers through SEO and digital advertising through strong knowledge of search engine analytics to maximize traffic to the Websites and achieve MQL, SQL, and customer performance metrics. Provide a weekly spreadsheet update to senior management on the performance metrics of the Websites, specifically: MQL, SQL, customer numbers, conversion metrics between them, and overall digital revenue generated.
3) Tertiary – Generate graphic designs and marketing materials for Websites and other print, digital, and media marketing applications. Generate professional digital videos to be posted to the Websites, YouTube, and other media websites to promote the Company’s products and/or services through customer and patient testimonials, training webinars, and seminars.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
University level bachelor’s degree in Integrated Media, Web and Graphic Design (or equivalent)
Minimum 5 years of demonstrated hands-on industry-relevant experience in:
· Cohesive design, implementation, and testing of website and embedded websites
· Proficiency of front-end/back-end development, using web programming languages such as HTML5, CSS, PHP/MySQL, jQuery scripts, JavaScript, Ajax and XML
· WordPress - including creating, editing, and designing custom plug-ins
· Jetpack and or WooCommerce
· Large scale e-mail deployment
· SEO, Google analytics, sharable tools such as AddThis and ReTargeter
· Successful website marketing
· Verification and validation of Websites to ensure features display properly on a variety of web browsers, operating platforms, and devices
· Ensuring all materials align with Theralase® branding and identity standards throughout the organization
· Creating and designing artwork and marketing materials for - online campaigns, logos, letterhead, business cards, window signage, web banners, social media banners, electronic newsletters, web, and social media digital campaigns, brochures, infographics, magazine ads, and media releases
· Analyzing website and campaign performance data and metrics
· Researching, creating, and presenting a monthly action plan based on analyzing the performance data and metrics to senior management on proven methodologies to improve performance
· Compiling, editing, and adding videos to the Websites
· Improving and optimizing the User Experience and User Interface
· Customer Relationship Management integration, using Zoho (or equivalent)
· Maintaining an organized library of graphics and marketing documentation for ease of access
· Being the “go-to person” for all things related to content; including graphics, ad designs, marketing materials, copywriting, and overall layouts to support sales and marketing campaigns
Expert user in Adobe Creative Suite (i.e., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Animate, and Dreamweaver)
Expert user in the Microsoft environment (i.e., Office, Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher)
Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills in the English language
Impeccable writing style, able to be tailored to specific audiences, perfect grammar and diction, attention to detail
Strong problem-solving skills with a proven ability to achieve strategic objectives
Self-disciplined, self-motivated, and professional in demeanor
A polished individual who remains calm and focused under pressure and who rises to meet the challenge
Deadline orientated with an ability to meet tight deadlines and able to manage vendors in the completion of various assignments

Compensation:
Salary - $65,000 base, commensurate with experience + performance bonus + employee benefits + (stock options - subject to Board of Director’s approval)
