Oncolytics Biotech Inc. is a clinical-stage biotechnology company. The Company is focused on developing pelareorep, an intravenously delivered immunotherapeutic agent that activates the innate and adaptive immune systems and weakens tumor defense mechanisms. One thing I noticed about today’s NR and presentation was that there were no actual statistics presented – the only comment made was that results were “statistically significant.” This is a change from previous NRs, when actual numbers were presented. It could be that Roche is making them stick more closely to the non-disclosure aspect of their joint efforts for some reason. What the actual reason for this change is, I don’t know, but in this case the change makes me optimistic.
