RE:RE:RE:What isRepsol Jaguar anticipated 21 ppg mud weights to drill the Turonian and only had 19.6 ppg FIT at their deepest casing shoe. That's why they abandoned the well. They were considering running a continguency liner to get a stronger shoe but the mud contractor MI didn't have any hematite in Trinidad to get the mud weight up to what was necessary. They only had barite and in a 21 ppg barite based mud the mud turns into toothpaste. CGX has 2 continguency strings ready to go. Probably the means to get mud weight up as well. They're loaded for bear.
