RE:RE:2 years and an epidemic laterStop it. I cannot believe there are still people out there spewing this unfounded disproven garbage. All your anti-vaxxer conspiracy theory arguing points have been disproven time and time again.
The vaccines are safe and effective.
The baloney about it being experimental is false. It has full aproval from the FDA and Helath Canada. 29 MILLION people have had the shot in Canada. 7.2 BILLIION shots have been administered globally. People are not falling down dead from these vaccines.
MRNA technology has been around for 25 years.
The deactivated viral vector technology has been around much longer than that.
So your ridiculous statements about
"the experimental jab" (as I have said above, there are more than just one kind of "jab") amounts to nothing more than uneducated, mis-informed noise.
Another glaring contradiction in your drivel comes to light when at one point you say it is a "so-called pandemic" and yet you say the vaccines do nothing to stop the spread of the virus. So on one hand you don't think it exists and on the other you admit that it does. So which is it?
Look folks, these kinds of people are a vanishing minority and do not understand the science behind these various vaccines. It is patently false when this person says they do nothing to stop the spread. Anybody with grade 10 biology class knows that a virus spreads and mutates by replication in a host. Do vaccines stop the virus from entering your body? Absolutely not. It is not a full body condom or a magic shield. What a vaccine does is prevents the virus from replicating to such a high degree and thereby prevents the host from experiencing the worst effects. It is NOT designed to prevent infection. There is NO medication that can do this. What they are designed to do and do VERY EFFECTIVELY is keep you out of the hospital and keep you from dying.
So, by insisting all employees are vaccinated, CNRL is looking out for its employees' safety. And in a larger sense they are being responsible corporate citizens and safe-guarding the health of the wider community.
I say good for them.
The only reason we are even still talking about this at all is because the very vocal minority like hdawgz1 are selfish and gullible. They have fallen for the unsubstantiated conspiracy theories on social media. Personally I feel sorry for people like these. They would rather believe quacks and charlatans on Facebook rather than hundreds of thousands of scientists, chemists, lab techs, doctors, epidemiologists, etc etc who have made it their live's work to keep them safe and healthy. CNRL has set a gold standard by making this a policy. Good for them. I wish companies across Canada would all follow their lead.
