RE:4th and 5th Dimensional thinkingWell let's see. Phytoplankton converted solar energy through photosynthesis to grow and provide food energy and nutrients all the way up the food chain.
They died and got buried with sediments and over time got converted into kerogene which over time got cooked into hydrocarbons.
Hydrocarbons are naturally stored solar energy. For some reason nature loves to store solar energy as hydrocarbons. Coal is stored solar energy in vegetation. Our own bodies main source of energy are the hydrocarbon the 3 hydrocarbon chains hanging off the triglycerride molecule which our cells convert into energy through an oxidization reaction with oxygen which is why we inhale oxygen and exhale CO2 and water vapor.
Yep go long hydrocarbons. Nature has already stored millions of years of sunlight in them. Some oxygen, a spark then all of the energy that you'll ever need. Reaction produces CO2 which is a building block for life which is why "organic" greenhouses buy CO2 to keep concentration at over 1200 ppm. So c'mon Guyana crank out that oil and those rain forests.
