It is a fact of life in Canada , the TSX is the private ATM for Canadian banks . Personal and political vendetta's are the rule here , banks can only profit in O&G by playing the shorting game which puts them in direct conflict with their own clients . Retail bids it up and the banks sell it back down using your shares to do it .
