RE:Why NVA over TVE? Better lands, cashflow, growth, management, reserves etc...
TVE did 2 (maybe 3 can't recall) capital stock raises at depressed stock prices in 2020/21 and diluted the crapola out of the company. $47m at $1.15 last December and then $68m at $2.25 this March. Sure, great lands they bought, but at what cost?
Nuvista picked up there sweet Pipestone land from Cenovus in Sept 2018 that was on CVE balance sheet valued at over $1.5B and sold to NVA for $600m. CVE were cash strapped and had to sell assets. NVA raised capital at $8.05 to buy that land!!!
Both were around a buck in December 2020, and look where the market has them valued now.
