Well you might be right, but we're all entitled to our opinion and I remain completely bullish.
In fact, I don't think there will be any "blow" at all.
I think this will be the "show-me" quarter.
As for your comment about "tanking going into the quarter", I think that's a bit extreme.
We've lost 39 cents in the last 3 sessions after gaining $1.18 in the prior 6.
That's not a "weak attempt to spin", that's a fact. As for your hoping for an afternoon reversal, I am as well, and I personally think we'll see one.
Volume is curiously light.
I expect it to pick up this afternoon, and I suspect it will be to the upside.
People who wanted out before the numbers are precisely and largely accountable for the last 3 days' weakness

Most have probably sold.
The diminishing volume may indicate that.
Sellers are getting tired.
If the volume picks up, the stock will make an impressive move higher.
