During the Peter's interview they indicated that a major player may have no choice but to buy them out in the future. I think it was the q&A section. Now on slide 9 theygighkight again " Alberta Montney poised for consolidation" fractured ownership...future consolidation...
I don't want them to entertain any buy out but as they are going to have more cash than they know what to do with, but I think that is managements end game. For that reason, they may just want to buy back as many shares as they can as fast as they can and sell in 2023 after the industry rereates and valuations normalize. I do t want that to be the case, but I have my gut feeling.
