RE:RE:ROBERT BRISCOE : CASE SHOULD BE REFERRED TO AUTHORITIESYeah I can't help but think that there might be a simpler - and arguably more painful - market-based explanation. Briscoe sold at $1 in May, and at 85 cents in November. Maybe he just needed some cash? I still think we are heading into a painful period for restaurants who will be forced to raise prices to cover their rising food and staff costs (I read somewhere recently that dishwashers are getting offered $25/hr in BC!). We could have a sustained period where fast food joints do better than restaurants even more than than usual because the general public simply doesn't have the cash to pay 50% more for their steak dinner, or they simply don't want to. Same for groceries. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't changed some of my spending habits lately given the cost of beef etc. The perception may be that Colabor primarily serves restaurants but is that true? No. They serve institutions who need food regardless of the price. So that is good. They serve hotels.. well travel is starting to come back but not sure how long it will take to be "normal". I'm not sure how many fast food joints Colabor serves but I think I remember them shedding some unprofitable contacts with some big names in the last few years. That was the right thing to do in my view but the big questions in my mind as a shareholder is actually for all of Colabor's clients: "how's business?", "What's your outlook for the next year or two.. do you think you'll be growing?" and "Will you be ok without government assistance?". I'm still holding because I think Colabor has done an amazing job over the last few years. I have no idea if Briscoe helped or hindered, all I can do is look at their results. GLTA
