RE:Magnificent Grades, More Veins, Brutally undervaluedIt's easy to see why the New Polaris Gold mine has the 11th highest grades of any gold mine in the world .
Just some of the recent intercepts..
....a 17.8-metre interval averaging 11.1 grams of gold per tonne from a hole into the C10 vein at its New Polaris gold project in northwestern British Columbia, south of Atlin and northeast of Juneau.
....The assays, from another two holes in the company's continuing 47-hole drill program, produced several other hits, including 11 grams per tonne over 8.9 metres in the C9 vein in one hole
....and 8.1 grams per tonne over 9.9 metres from a second hole into the C9 vein.
Forty holes have been completed so far and assays are pending for 23 of them.
... a 13-metre hit delivering 15.8 grams per tonne in early July
....and a 3.9-metre interval returning 30.8 grams per tonne a few weeks later.
These are exceptional bonanza grades but consistent with the previous mining history of Polaris.
In fact, the latest resource estimate, upon which the drilling hopes to upgrade and expand, shows 1.7 million tonnes indicated at 10.8 grams of gold per tonne and 1.5 million tonnes inferred at 10.2 grams per tonne, a total of 1.07 million ounces of high-grade gold.
Of particular note with the high grade of the C10 vein hits, as the vein is about 100 metres vertically above the C-West Main vein and is not yet included in the resource estimate.
Going forward, this new very high grade discovery will result in a significantly expanded resource level.
Drill results should be forthcoming for the next 4-5 months.
