They have a float of 150 M shares. They buy them for 6 bucks a share plus take on the debt.
Just what I think is a possibility. I also have to say if your a big dog like suncor let's say. You can add 120 k BOE and be green.
At 10 dollars a share plus debt 7.3 B. They issue shares or cash. Whatever.
If they use shares there is zero debt and WCP pays the purchase Price back in 6 years.
We are becoming a take out at this price. Something to consider.
Craig have notice speculation that WCP is looking at CJ. It is interesting to note that both companies are carbon negative. Also CJ's carbon operation is just a few kilometers south of WCP Weyburn operation. The Co-Op refinery in Regina is planning on spending 500 million to ship their CO2 down to Weyburn for WCP to put it underground. Is WCP thinking of getting into carbon capture in an even bigger way?
I anxiously await the govenment's annoucement on carbon capture...think it will be great for WCP and CJ.
