Have you ever?

Have you ever?Have you ever rolled a tire down from the top of a big ski-run in the off-season, when there was nobody around, anywhere in the world?

I haven't.

You could probably catch it before it's gone a few yards.
After that, it's a "fait acomplie."

It goes faster and faster, and becomes so small you get out your binoculars.
Then you lose sight of it.

Then you realize that before this episode is over, the tire will either have to somehow magically lose most of its energy and slow down, or it will take an untold amount of energy to stop it.

In a way, that's Xebec.
