RE:So......OrophilThanks for the invite...I have followed the board for several months and am aware of the number of high quality posters ...have been a gold bug for many years,,,,bought my first gold stock campbell red lake in about 1974 or so.......bougt some krugerrands with the profits which I still have and have picked up a few 3 baht thai chains over the years so I like gold...am a smallish investor now holding 6000 nfgc and 7000 spoff and a few shares of nfldf.....at the present sentiment for gold in the states seems to be suffering from the fact that a few 100's of tousands of millenials are enamored with bitcoin while markets seem to ignore that billions of people in virtually every other part of the world much prefer the precious metals....I fear that I may have upset a few people by suggesting that evaluation of prospective alluvial deposits and prospective orogenic deposits should be approached in an entirely different fashion...iow in a large rather homogenous alluvial deposite that is non nuggety and of uniformily lower grade then one should aim for non biased random sampling ...while when evaluating the types of orogenic deposits such as fosterville and nfgc that contain pockets of boanza grade that are real glory holes surrounded by relatively non ore bearing material the focus should be of close spaced drlilling from various angles of the most promising biasedly selected holes and cores.....I think the postings by Quinton on crescat has established that...looking forward to moday's open
