So if they do pick up a new exploration play O'Dea and Labrenz would be good choices to head it up. That is why I agree with you about seeing them step away from the mining end but I guess I would like to see them available for exploration.  I do think hiring Ms.Belanger is a sign that they have stepped away. And as I said that tpd forecast drop I think shows that she has a plan and they are letting her run with it.  

Hope....well I guess McEwen hoped that someone would come up with a mining plan that would work for Goldcorp when he came up with the contest idea. Making all you information public was something no other company ever did. He hoped his idea would work. I think it did.  I would class Goldcorp as a success story. A junior company had a drill project going on and just could not get it together. But someone kept raising cash for them and on hole 76 they hit. Those investors were hoping for something good. Fifteen different prospectors had held that ground along the way. Five mining companies as well. Everyone hoped they would hit something. I think Hemlo turned out not too bad as a gold deposit. Hope is what keeps prospectors like me going out. If you want a guarantee then invest in GICs not mining.
