Daikin Australia is not an insignificant partner but the problem with the shareholders is all about PG's communication. Most of us didn't get shares at 15 cents. It matters. It was too hard to figure out that the start of the relationship with a $30B global HVAC giant with 30,000 distributors was the regional distributor. So, he lands a regional distributor and we are thinking WTH. Just like NEO, the senior exchange. Too cryptic. The Agoracom video pretty well speaks to why the 20,000 monthly units fell apart. All good, all reasonable. What was not reasonable was that he did not start correcting the narrative on time and that he cowered away from it far too long to provide the reasonable explanation. He has his stuff together for implementing the core strategy. But he has to give himself a cold shower to wake him up before communicating things a certain way, instead of dousing us with an ice cold shower. He underpromises and overdelivers on core, but he does the opposite on BC.
i agree with some of the things you have mentioned but the the Daikine thing is still huge eventhough to begin with its only for the Australian/NZ area its like a car parts manufacturer making a deal with one of the big 3 everyone figuers out that its prob Ford and then it turns out that its a deal with Ford Canada to start with. No shame in that?! still excellent!?
