They didn't REALY REALY lose money last quarter... they just had to sell some gas (at a profit) for less than market price. So it looks like a loss but it's not really. It's just less than if they would have been able to sell for market price.

they bought property and paid down debt. That ain't losing money, that's just not making as much as they could have.
