RE:RE:dips@Cobalt
Holly sh@t! The sky is falling, lol!
Give the fearmongering a rest Cobalt.
"Many dark clouds appearing" Ooh!
Quick! I'd better sell all my equities positions so that when everything is shut down again, due to another wave of Covid19, and when people are stuck at home not being able to physically go out and spend money gamble at casinos and/or are made to curtail their consumer purchases of all kinds of unnecessary products (which is spending that had only begun to somewhat recover) . . .
Lock it all down again; this when the Federal Canadian and U.S.government's most senior representatives had only recently halted the country's bond buying and begun incessantly 'jawboning' the tapering of bond purchases, respectively?
Understand that as long as Canadians and Americans have that massively built up pile of savings, which industry representatives and the various big banking institution representatives who are operating on both sides of our borders have collectively marked for 'capture', there will exist the intention and the expressed determination on the part of the various stakeholders collectively trying to get all that built up savings out of consumers pockets.
In yet another lockdown situation, which you suggest is about to present, the stock market will once again be the only game in town, so to speak.
What's more, given all the tens of trillions of dollars in stimulus which the American and Canadian governments, along with just about every developed country's most senior representatives, have collectively spent in buoying their respective public equities and investments markets and economies as a whole, you now propose that all the resulting generated and extremely beneficial pent up economic tailwind, which every politician and their cousin have 'banked' on to drive forward and to sustain their respective economies during the interim; simply be allowed to disappear like a fart in the wind?
LOL! Yes Cobalt, the sky is falling alright, lol.
When there is fear on the streets, you would perhaps do well to be vigilant and be prepared to most profitably capitalize upon certain resulting opportunities; not stick yourself in the corner of a closet, whilst having assumed a fetal position and being unnecessarily scared out of your wits.
