Aris Mining Corporation is a gold producer in the Americas. The Company is engaged in operating two mines with expansions underway in Colombia. The Segovia Operation is located in the Segovia-Remedios mining district in the department of Antioquia, Colombia, approximately 180 kilometers (km) northeast of Medellin. The Segovia Operations comprises four active underground gold mining operations, which include El Silencio, Sandra K, Providencia, and Carla. It has over 11 titles with a total area of 5,335.58 hectares (ha). The Marmato underground gold mine is located on the west side of the town of Marmato, in Marmato municipality of Caldas Department, in the Republic of Colombia, approximately 80 km from Medellin and 200 km northwest of the capital city of Bogota. The Company is also the operator and 51% owner of the Soto Norte Project, which is advancing to develop a new underground gold, silver and copper mine. In Guyana, it is advancing the Toroparu, a gold/copper project.

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Article!!Gorilladome47 you are buying into the scare tactics of the alarmists that get on the media.

In actuallity rewriting the constituition is a big deal and especially for how green the new 

government is but man the old one had so many provisions under Pinochet that had to 

redo it now instead of later. It will probably be delayed for sometime because of the 

inexperienced newly elected that are great in number.

As to the unions down there always talk tougher than what they are and a lot of the 

big leaders have softened their views. Everyone in Chile knows how important mining

is to the country and they are not going to be unreasonable in the end.

If you want to bring up a sad sack country bring up Argentina that has cost me 

dearly for how bad they treat business interests. And you do not even mention them?

Take a look at what populist governments have cost Argentina. Do not be too 

influenced by biased media articles. IKE
