Wanpagliflozin is TFC-039

In order to register this patent, they would be required to produce studies and/or clinicals to substantiate the use claim.

Wanpagliflozin is not commercially available so someone with control over the science (Sirona/Wanbang) willingly supplied the tablets to Boehringer.
