Why - Get ready to Fire Management?1. The next steps for success have been discussed in prior posts:
a. Find a partner to explore the East Thrace prospect.
b. Merge with another entity/ies.
c. Drill the prospect themselves (not recommended in my opinion because it is a big risk for a small company).
d. Purchase assets (not recommended in my opinion because they will use their cash and unable to develop the assets they buy).
2. By May 2022 it will be 2 years since the company started exploring the above options.
3. I think management is reasonable but not stellar.
4. If they cannot find a partner by May 2022 I will start wondering about the value of the data they have and question the prospect.
5. If they cannot do an accretive merger by May 2022 I will question the reputation Management has among its peers. This is important because in a merger one Management survives and if peers do not think highly of the Valeura team they will not give them the keys to the executive toilettes.
6. I do expect that Management will do a deal by May 2022.
7. If they do not do a deal, Shareholders should be ready to fire Management, as I do not expect them to quit. the Board should bring on a team that gets the share price over $1 with the announcement of their appointment.
8. Monday morning, take a few minutes and call your broker and get the Valeura shares registered in your name. Just in case.
