RE:Cormark target price........ Lurk & Learns & Proselenes:
100% SPECULATION:
Sometimes a "brokerage" making a prediction may or may not be on the side on the retail investor.
While I hope that Cormark is making a "smoke house" (aka unbiased) prediction, I can only remind my Lurk & Learns that of only two(2) of the three(3) "followers" of Touchstone linked by Pro's posting, Canaccord and Stiefel Nicholas appeared to be accumulating shares recently. With Cormark being notable by their absence.
RECALL: Cormark on the other hand might be remembered thusly:
On Sept 24, the BNN "chiron" (TXP announcement scrolling at the bottom of the screen) a day when Eric Nuttal was the guest. Chiron was constantly trumpeting the Touchstone Royston-1 SUCCESS.
Curiousity being, neither Eric nor the host recognized/mentioned this milestone event. And there we no viewer questions on the news release. I'm assuming that the "switchboard" might have been "groomed" "scripted" wrt any Touchstone enquiries.
My point being, I surmised that he (Eric) did not want to take questions on TXP or discuss the subject. Meaning, I suspect that he might/could be somehow related to any (possible\potential) TSX based activity.
e.g. Never heard any up date, on his 4 mln (@$1.75) share position that he mentioned in past.
We also noted that a block 4 (or 2 mln?) mln shares were bot using Cormark (broker 73) on the Chinook NR on March 31st.
The same brokerage that appeared to be leading the recent price capping.
Too much co-incidence in my opinion. Which is why I can agree with your theory. i.e. could the TSX activity at price suppression be related to the bigger picture of (possible) hedge fund hostile activity. Maybe, maybe not. Hedge Funds Working Their Magic - Against TXP
