Update on Bipartisan push for SAFE banking

Most recently, a bipartisan group of senators sent a letter on Tuesday urging the chamber to adopt language from a House-passed national defense bill that would protect banks that service state-legal marijuana businesses.

Also yesterday...

Legally-operating cannabis businesses in Nevada & across the country need access to the banking system. I’m fighting to pass the bipartisan #SAFEBankingAct because it’s time to end the financial & safety risks holding back this booming industry.

NEW: @SenJackyRosen + four other senators sent a letter to leaders of the Senate and House Armed Services Committees asking that the #SAFEBankingAct language be included in the NDAA — which the Senate will take up after the Thanksgiving break.

I
believe this language will remain as part of the NDAA that should be top on the agenda after the Thanksgiving break and needs to be signed by Biden into law by December 13th when they are on break until January...

It's crunch time for passing the 2022 Defense bill, and with SAFE include the celebration in this sector will be epic! Hold strong this is what we need to move the SP!

Another profitable Quarter would be nice too! GLA
