RE:RE:RE:Is EYL Korea a competitor?1) If they had news to report, they would. IDQuantique is a private firm yet they are very active with their news updates. I don't underestimate competition either and, in fact, it is welcomed as it shows there is a market for our product, but EYL is not of concern. Any form of competition does not spell the end for QNC. We have free, competitive markets for a reason, but even so, QNC's IP portfolio is robust enough to provide us with the protection we need going forward.
2) Just because a physical process is truly random does not mean we should use it for random number generation as it may not be conventional/feasible - as is likely the case with radioactive decay. For example, all forms of decay (alpha, beta, and gamma) can pose dangers to humans to some extent (i.e., prolonged exposure to alpha particles can cause lung cancer, beta particles can even penetrate skin, and the impact of gamma rays is obvious). There are likely issues with scale, cost, power usage, and speed in this process as well. QNC's process of quantum tunneling with electrons seems to be the best process out there so far.
Not sure if you are truly bullish on the stock and trying to stir ungrounded concerns in order to grab shares cheaply, or if you are genuinely concerned for the company, but rest assured EYL never crosses my mind.
