USB-C ports

The executive arm of the European Union has proposed that USB-Type C will be the common port and this move is expected to hit IPHONE maker APPLE the most given that it uses proprietary Lightning connector for Iphones and most IPADS.

Will Apple need license to use standard USB-C ports to function its IPhones and IPADS.
