Not surprisingly,apple is against this proposal, as it prefers you use its Lightning Connector.
The arguments which APPLE makes are somewhat thin, in my view.
i'm pretty sure the reason is to keep its users in its so-called walled garden.

Finally,does Apples argument have any true merit?
