Obviuosly the stability of this company is very weak. Sad but I guess time to do my own DD and get something out of it anyway. A double is better than breaking even or watching it slowly die down to pennies.

Maybe this summation will help, from over on ceo.ca , poster is @epsteinresearch :

@EpsteinResearch $CYP I spoke with VP of IR Spiros Cacos and with a large shareholder and came away excited once again. I didn't have these calls because the share price has been weak (hundreds of TSXV names got crushed in November). I just wanted an update of the pilot plant and other corporate initiatives. I'm very happy with what I heard. Without providing much detail (very little detail actually), Spiro said that the pilot plant was running smoothly and that the team was pleased with how things are going. Personally, as long as there are not material delays or red flags, I don't need in depth reports. Of course, I look forward to the next press release on the pilot plant, but I don't know when that will be. Management is making good progress on uplisting from the TSX-V to the TSX in Feb/Mar 2022. CEO Bill Willoughby is speaking at more investor conferences, he has one next week. I hear that CFO Abraham (Braam) Jonker, CPA, CA & Chairwoman Cassandra Joseph, Esq. are very experienced & talented execs and that they're making their marks at the company in a positive way. I asked if ALB was closely watching the workings of the pilot plant... Spiros told me that many Li companies are closely watching the progress! Sell-side firms are offering Cypress bought deal financings, and Cypress is (wisely) passing on them. $CYP has ~C$18M in the bank. Two days ago, Alpha Lithium received a US$30M investment at the project level for 15% of their Argentinean brine project, and granted the option to the investor to pay an additional US$185M!! to reach 50% ownership. Alpha's project is not at PFS-stage, or PEA-stage... it doesn't have a maiden resource yet! Last night (N. America time) morning in Australia, Galan Lithium [$GLN.ax] put out a PEA on a brine operation in Argentina. The long-term lithium carbonate price assumption was US$18,500/tonne. Li prices are going to stay stronger for longer, almost everyone now sees it. I have been comparing Cypress to 8 peers at similar stages using a price of US$11,875/tonne. That price point is the linear extrapolation of their base case of $9,500 and the upside case of $14,250/tonne. Notably, Cypress plans to produce hydroxide, not carbonate, which I think has better fundamentals going forward. Although there's some disappointment that Cypress doesn't put out more press releases, management has said consistently that after the pilot plant results are released, news flow should pick up. Bottom line, the Company has C$18M in the bank, new, high-calibre senior level execs / board members are joining, the lithium market couldn't be stronger (and will still be strong when Cypress needs to write the big construction checks), and the # of PFS or BFS-stage Li projects not tied up by the Chinese or with significant partners is shrinking. Anyone on the fence about buying shares of Cypress -- just look at Standard Li's & Lithium Americas' valuations. Lithium is the single best green, high-tech, battery metal on the planet. Only copper comes close.
