My take regarding Anonymous et Al
The common use of “anonymous trading'' is to help high profile investors / large traders who don't want to provide clues to other traders that they are unloading or acquiring a large quantity of a stock (Key word = Large).
In theory there is no need for the average trader / retail investor to trade under House 001 / Anonymous as explained by Investopedia that “retail traders don't need to concern themselves with trading anonymously since they typically don't have a significant price impact and other traders aren't particularly concerned with smaller one-time orders”.
In practice “anonymous trading” allows manipulators / short sellers to:
1) Cross trade among themselves by hiding the buying end or the selling end or both ends under House 001 / Anonymous
2) Make the stock look more bearish than it actually is by chasing the Bids via a series of small orders to push the sp down
3) Make the stock look artificially strong by chasing the Asks via a series of small orders to pump the sp up
4) Execute their “pump & dump” / “dump & pump” schemes at will.
Largo is an illiquid stock. There is no large volume trader. The average daily volumes are relatively small but the trades are dominated by Anonymous et al. So, imo, there are no legitimate reasons for brokers to use Anonymous to buy / sell LGO at all. Therefore those who trade LGO under Anonymous et Al are nothing but manipulators.
Sooner or later the sp will have to properly reflect the company's very strong fundamentals.
