No matter , its debatable whether the present increases can be met . Very few want to acknowledge the lack of investment over the past years and the toll that has taken , it will take years to ever achieve former production levels . This is one of Suncor's advantages , the plants are built , just keep running the sand , no drilling required .
Conversely , I have been on 12 flights since Aug (all of them full) and the highways are busy too , 99% ICE powered . I did see a couple of Tesla's while in the lower mainland and I have to ask , I wonder how well they work in a flood ? People are employed with cash in the bank and they're tired of restrictions , demand hasn't even hit its stride yet . The Netherland's tried to impliment another lockdown and protestors nearly burned down Amsterdam . CBC/CTV/BNN won't show you those storiest but people are not complying with red alerts because of a flu anymore . Demand should continue to ramp up .
SU is generating huge FCF and the dividend date is this Friday which means , any shares bought between now and Friday receive a $0.40 rebate paid later this month . The market is acting like the world just stopped but let's be honest , even $67/bbl , SU is still piling up cash .
