RE:RE:AGM Dec 21I wrote this a while ago, but it's probably still ok:
There are 3 different Markets within Nasdaq (Nasdaq Global Select Market, Nasdaq Global Market and Nasdaq Capital Market) and several different ways to qualify for each of them. I looked for the Market with the lowest standards to see if Reliq could conceivably meet them. Here's my quick and dirty take on the subject. (Please keep in mind that all dollar amounts are in USD, including the bid price requirement.)
Nasdaq Capital Market
There are 3 different categories of requirements for this particular Nasdaq market, but here are the minimum requirements for the easiest category that Reliq could meet:
Stockholder's Equity $4M
Market Value of Unrestricted Publicly Held Shares: $15M
Market Value of Listed Securities: $50M
Unrestricted Publicly Held Shares: 1M
Unrestricted Round Lot Shareholders: 300
Market Makers: 3
Bid Price: $4
or
Closing Price***: $2 for 90 consecutive trading days
*** To qualify under the closing price alternative, a company must have: (i) average annual revenues of $6 million for three years, or (ii) net tangible assets of $5 million, or (iii) net tangible assets of $2 million and a 3 year operating history.
There are other requirements as well as corporate governance requirements, but those are fairly minor.
