not saying WELL is immune to bear markets or a bad economy, but yet another plus for this company is that healthcare is a very defensive sector. patients still need to see CRH and MyHealth regardless of what China's housing market is doing...
WELL has senior debt financing on their key businesses, which provides extremely cheap debt to finance their acquisition program. interest rate increases will not impact them in a meaningful way.
Bud I respect your macro opinions and technical/chartist opinions, but sometimes you just need to take a hard look at a company from a bottom-up approach and stick with it, regardless of what the share price is doing. I'd like to hear your opinions on the company's business itself sometime, rather than the chart activity or the macro economy.
this stock was $8 a short 3 months ago and there has been nothing but good news since then. insiders just bought in the debenture offering, which tells me there's likely no bad news afoot either.
there will always be multi bagger opportunities out there, even during bear markets. i think WELL is one of them.
