It may be early for me to REPEAT this possibility....

BUT

NOT's price decline may be suggesting that the odds of BHP walking from NOT are RISING.

Wyloo is a miner, I grant, but obviously doesn't have the SIZE or Cachet of BHP.

As a point of Very Recent History, BHP was unable to put together a partnership with Nutrien on BHP's Jansen potash project.

BHP has also been working the phones to bully SolGold shareholders to load that BOD. On that front, results remain to be seen.

It appears to me that BHP, as personified by its CEO.....

DOESN'T WANT TO GET ALONG WITH OTHERS.

We shouldn't be surprised if BHP walks.
