RE:RE:seekingalphaUnless a magical turnaround happens where shareholders see sustainable Q over Q growth in revenues I'll agree with him over you any time ..

Bill Maurer can't change his stripes even when he's pretending to sound a fair and balanced note. He really doesn't like BB,  nor any of the Seeking Alpha regulars who are either positive about the company or ACTUALLY try to BE fair and balanced. Ask any of them about that, especially BigZ.

Notice BM's insidious focus on the top line, which allows him to give undue emphasis to the drop in Licensing revenue, which is the same tactic that trolls used for years when they they kept the spotlight on declines in total revenue due to diminished phone sales and SAF.

He also attributes the rises in BB's sp in 2021 entirely to the Reddit crowd, suggesting there wasn't a whiff of substance in the good news. But but but, oh, um, there just might be slightly better news in Q3 & Q4, and you can practically hear BM straining to push those little nuggets of hope out of his pinched butts.

Nowhere does he mention that BB spiked after the last earnings -- and without help from WSB -- precisely because of improvements in IoT and Cybersecurity. He has NEVER printed a chart outlining BB's growth of SW revenue from FY2014 onward. He studiously avoids pointing out anything that makes BB look good.

But that's how the game is played. You get more clicks if you delight the bears and poke the bulls. Writers don't get their chunk of cheese unless they generate so much activity. Something like that goes on with YouTubers, too.

Start with a clickbait title. Then politely ask your viewers to subscribe, or at least to hit the like buttion. Almost inevitable now too is the promise of "extra content" if you become a Patreon supporter.

And to think, you get a ton of good stuff at Stockhouse for free, from analysis to a daily selection of links.
